Akane Hiyama (緋山 茜 Hiyama Akane) is one of the protagonists of anime and manga Renai Boukun, she is a high school student of the same class of Seiji Aino, and she is madly in love with him.
Biography[]
The school's idol who Seiji is in love with, her personality turns out to be a little more than he bargained for. Although they have different surnames, she's also the older half-sister of Yuzu Kichougasaki.
Appearance[]
Akane has long red hair with bangs & side bangs. On her left side bang, she has a red mini knife in the form of a barette. Her hair is wrapped in a low bun, with a low ponytail underneath it. She has a pale complexion and crimson eyes.
She is usually seen wearing a school uniform consisting of a long-sleeved white button-up shirt, a cradle diagonal red-black striped tie, a gold-colored button-up jacket, a short red-striped skirt with blue and black details, and white below the knee stockings with dark brown shoes. Also she carries a pair of kukris.
On some occasions she is seen wearing the sports uniform which is composed of a blue jacket, short white shirt, short blue shorts and sports shoes. Her bust size is 95 cm.
Personality[]
At first glance Akane is a model student, but when it comes to Seiji Aino, she can change her sweet personality to totally psychopathic, as she is madly in love with him. She would be willing to attack anyone who tries to date Seiji, as well as eliminating them if they hurt him; since she is the only one who can harm him, thus classifying her as a yandere. It's been proven that she will kill herself for Seiji, when he died in episode five. She shows a bit of Mayadere too. She doesn't hesitate to stab Seiji if she feels betrayed.
She is constantly stabbing Seiji and Guri, due to the follies that the latter is doing. She does not trust Shikimi Shiramine very much, due to her past, just as she is indifferent to the love that Yuzu Kichougasaki feels for her.
The only women in the series that she doesn't experience jealously or hatred towards that have (or have had) connections or encounters with Seiji are: Akua Aino, Mrs. Aino, and Tiara.

- Hiyama (written: 檜山 or 日山) is a Japanese surname.
- Akane (あかね, アカネ) is the Japanese word for 'deep red' (茜, Akane, Rubia cordifolia) and is associated with red (from the red dye made from its roots) and brilliant red.
- Akane's name contains her signature colour (aka- : red) as do most of the human main characters.
- In the Manga, Akane's birthday is February 15th, but the official website said it was October 28th.
- Despite her murderous intentions towards any other woman that interacts with Seiji, she has the presence of mind not to harm those that are pregnant.
